Brandmeister Manager - "API V2 No Responce"

Hi everyone. i have looked thru various posts on the forum about "API v2 No Responce" return messages after trying to "Drop QSO" or "Drop All Dynamic" in the Brandmeister Manager. I have a new API key generated tonight (9th Feb '24), but no still no luck. I can only unl...

Re: Transistions between the different pages...

The way PD0DIB did things causes that white screen to be displayed. There is a P0 field that has an image assigned to it. The page is set to a solid color 65535 (in this case white). So when the page is called, it loads the page which displays a white screen, and then loads the individual fields, w...

Re: Transistions between the different pages...

You should set the background of each page to the image you want, and not use a picture field. That will get rid of that lame white screen flash. Hmmm...could you elaborate on the process for me? I have picked my backgrounds using the image picker up to now....is there a more solid way to do it? Th...

Transistions between the different pages...

Hi.

Can you change the way the pages transition between one and another? (DMR to IDLE for example)
My current HMI has a quick white wipe effect between screens which has an almost camera-flash effect.
Can this be changed to a black wipe to make the transition more subtle?

Cheers...73

Re: Unwanted item on screen...

It is a field that is used for temporarily storing data and moving it around to other fields. You need to go into the editor and find it, it will be in the exact same location (X,Y) in the Nextion Editor so that will help you locate it. Then once you have it selected you need to move it to a layer ...

Unwanted item on screen...

HI. I've been experimenting with a new colour scheme on one of PD0DIB's MMDVM screens for my 3.5 screen....specifically on the DMR page. Since changing the background colour from grey to black on my background image, i've been getting this little grey square appearing during RX. It flashes when the ...

Re: USB power control...

Not that I'm aware of. You could use a pimoroni power shim, and when you press the button it would shutdown the RPi properly and kill all power. https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/onoff-shim Thanks for the reply, Sir. I like the look of that shim, but will require some extra modding to my case, whi...

Re: Pi-Star Remote

HOSTFILE (and the respective options per mode) will update the host files, but does not re-start the services afterwards, enables you to get new host files via RF command, its not terribly handy, but who knows, it might help one of you. I personally think this HOSTFILE update feature is great for t...

USB power control...

Hi. I’m not sure if this is a hardware or OS question to be honest, but I’ll post here anyway. When I reboot or shutdown Pi-star on my RPI4, it shuts of power to the USB ports even with the power supply still plugged in. My Zumsport USB and my Nextion screen physical turn off. However, performing th...

Re: Auto-update Stripped.csv in System Cron?

You need to make sure whoever is hosting that file is ok with you pulling the data daily. Currently, i host my own .csv file which i pull down and edit from KF5IW's database weekly. What i need to figure out is how to trigger the automation of Pi-star pulling to down and overwriting it. Currently, ...
