Re: Board identification

My question is - if the board works, on D-Star and DMR, what other modes did you want/need? Also if this does work the command for the upgrade of firmware of sudo pistar-mmdvmhshatflash hs_hat is confirmed. There is another board you could try (similar to the STM32_MMDVM but it has 2 call signs in i...

Re: Raspberry Pi 2 with Tontec Touchscreen

By looking at the pictures in the 'ad' I would have to say no, as many of the pins you need are taken up by the MMDVM or Jumbo or Zum or whatever boards. I am no expert and you can certainly try but on visual from details given, no.

Hardware gurus, prove me wrong.

Re: DTMF changing of DMR and DMR2YSF parameters

+1 here , but won't happen. the crossover mode through the DMRGateway Master cannot handle that, been asked before. I have not changed my DMR master to the straightup DMR2YSF master, so if it is possible in that mode, then OK but then you lose all the functionality of any other DMR takgroups at the ...

Re: DMTF functionality

OK, Changing DMR masters (on-the-fly) I have never heard you could do that (DTMF or otherwise from the radio -- YSF (Fusion rooms, yes) and as for D-Star -- I don't have one so I can offer no help there. But the fact you have Toolz has no bearing either as when you use DTMF, you hold PTT first while...

Re: will not connect to wifi but AP is working and I can connect to the AP

Not that it would make a whole lot of difference, but maybe when the 'bad' Pi0 went to renew its IP lease something went horribly wrong and a lease could not be obtained, shutting off for a day may have released the IP lease and gave a new IP instead. If your router can do 'RESERVE" IP tables set eac...

Re: UTC as a timezone

With a little googling I found this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_UTC_time_offsets

You can use Europe/Spain as a sub for UTC as Europe/London shifts in DST +1 in summer)

Re: hardware button to shut down

OK fols - there is a 'glitch' somewhere: My Pi-Star is set correctly with the Remote (my Callsign is the only one that will shut the device down) and Shutdown uncommented, BUT a Private Call to the shutdown code of 9999996 gets sent and in 5 seconds or so "Secret Not Found" is heard on TG 9 (I think...

Re: Cant do pi-star link except on phone wifi

Somewhere in the sprint Hotspot menus is a selection similar to 'Connected Devices' If your Zumspot is connected to the Sprint device thiat is where you need to look, if it only giives a MAC address then something went wrong. Anyone else out there with a Sprint Hotspot that can give us a hand? Somet...

Re: Help!!

I would do this for you but the process would disconnect me from you. I have anwered this a few times (slightly different depending on post) but from scratch, I cannot find one to point you to, so here we go. If you have a desktop or laptop this will be a bit easier: search for a WiFi network called...

Re: Something is wrong...

Yep, not a public mode hotspot and you are using a different DMR ID from configuration. http://pi-star/ Configuration if asked --- pi-star // raspberry just under your modem selection is a field called Node Type field for what type of access to the hotspot you want --- Yourself Only (Private (my gue...
