A suggestion may be to edit the wpa_supplicant file in expert mode instead. If what Andy says is what your problem is, then in CHROME (firefox and Internet Exploiter/Dredge should have similar settings section) Chrome - click 3 verical dots in upper right corner and choose settings. in the search box type forms this will show Auto-fill settings and Offer to save passwords, ...

Personally, I think this is moot. If the Key is correct for Brandmeister, you will see extra Brandmeister stuff on you Pi-Star Admin Page, if it is wrong you won't. Assuming a few things here: When hearing (receiving) is when you see the 4400 in the 'Target' column. When Talking (Transmitting) is when you see TG 9 in the Target column.
