Re: Set Static Talk Group

By your post it sounds like you're using DMR, best asked there. BUT we cannot answer that anyways. Details. What board - is it a dual mmdvm? If so are you using Brandmeister if so you do that in Brandmeister in Selfcare area, or if you have a Brandmeister API Key in the Admin page is a Brandmeister ...

Re: ZUMsport configuration: Trx field

We need to ee a bit more (Configuration page - DMR section) and possibly Configuration-Expert-MMDVMHost The picture you provide is a good start as it tells us (if you have a TRUE Zumspot) that you have the wrong Firmware (if a Chinaspot substitute the firmware is correct) That you are running in DMR...

Re: Cannot bring up the pistar dashboard on my phone?

Question asked many times, but I can tell you why (at least what your post says you tried... If the phone is an android phone --- android cannot resolve http://pi-star/ and only apples (desktops mainly) accept .local extensions) The 192.168.1.*** is mainly for routers at home - so this will not work...

Re: ZumSpot does not open my receiver consistently

My guess is you are using as your DMR Master -- DMR Gateway and you are on another Talkgroup. DMR Gateway uses 4 Talkgroups (all on TS2 by the way) TG 9 is for Brandmeister reflectors- other TGs like 91 231 etc can be used but all end up on TS2 TG 8 is for DMR+ which is refklectors also - some have ...

Re: SSID name and password

I've read that too, on FB group people say just change it. I said exactly your situation, no control over the creds. I have not tried myself as I don't need to, but I would say , from a different network (cell perhaps) get into config->Expert->WiFi and copy the Network { ... } section and the substi...

Re: Radio not communicating with Jumbo spot

A friend of mine has your radio and what we found is that even though your portable DMR (if you have one) Dstar (again if you have one) and even a Yeasu HT may have roughly the same TX and RX offsets that the FTM-100D the offsets here are way different. Have two tabs open in your browser (One to the...

Re: Increase display hang time?

That's what I was thinking as well. But does anyone now how to rotate the display 180 degrees? I run a Pi0WH with the chinese board where the OLED is soldered to the radio board only, It works fine - Love it. BUT The power is on a side that makes standing upright impossible -- placing the case so th...

Re: Drop All Dynamic question

Don't overthink it, that just means the dynamics were dropped -- it goes away after about 10 seconds and you will notice you no longer have the dynamic groups on the dashboard.

I see the same thing, but it does drop the dynamics with no issues.

Re: https for nginx

I know with Apache (using free [LetsEncrypt] certs good for 90 days but can self renew with a cron job) only Fully Qualified Domain Names can be issued certificates (even self signed may have issues SSLing just an IP , especially something like Pi-Star where the IP can change often. I'd check into t...
