Bill I also have a 2m DVAP and it is hooked up to a Pi running 4.1 rc 3. How long does it take to lock up and what reflector do you leave it on?
Does it lock during the day too?
I can try mine overnight and see what happens.

Re: All mode jitter setting
Raised as an issue, and acknowledged, with Jonathan/Github. He's looking at both a global and a per mode jitter setting.

Re: New to DSTAR - Links to Reflector but BER 13%
Glad you got it sorted Filipe. I find the audio on D-Star sounds better on the small speaker of my ID-51, than on the larger speaker on my ID-5100.

Re: Raspberry Pi 4
The CCS background colour setting is easy to figure out, the web authoring colour tables/charts are shown on several web sites, such as:

I use green on my Pi Zero W and blue on my Pi 3B...

Re: New to DSTAR - Links to Reflector but BER 13%
Could it be that your DMR or your D-Star radio is off frequency relative to your MMDVM?
Make sure both radios are on frequency, then adjust the MMDVM for minimum BER.

Re: uSD won't boot Jspot
IT'S ALIVE! IT'S ALIVE! Using win32diskimager did the trick for copying from the original 8GB uSD to the new 16GB card. Still wondering why the pistar img-to-etcher failed to allow wifi connection.....Thanks all for the help, I learned a lot. Aloha, Steve WH6ST Surely the easier way is to back up t...

Re: uSD won't boot Jspot
Windows might foul up the SD card. I reformat the SD card using the utility from the SD card association, look under downloads, it will remove partitions too:

Re: Talkgroups & Timeslots & Misc
TS1 and TS2 listings on repeater web pages only relate to what is set on the repeater. Your simplex hotspot uses TS2 for everything. Use the BM server nearest to you to minimise delays. When listening/watching a talkgroup you will find a lot of “users” key up for a second to activate the talkgroup a...

All mode jitter setting
I’ve been experimenting with a Shark OpenSPOT 2, which has a global de-jitter setting. The manual mentions changing the setting is primarily for use with a mobile phone hotspot or MiFi. The suggested setting is 1000 (mS?) for use with 3G or 4G. On D-Star the Shark used with a phone hotspot hasn’t su...
