Re: Allstar
Sorry, but as stated in this forum a few times now, AllStarLink is an analog mode. Pi-Star is Digital only, so adding Allstar is not possible. You could just make another Pi an allstar node but as to a radio board or how to connect a 'spare' radio to it, is not a discussion for this forum. Try hamvo...

Re: RPI_V4.1.0-RC7 - Disk full
Thanks Andy, I was not aware it did. On my 3.4 I think I had to do it manually. But if 4.1 does this for you, I stand corrected and appologize for my mis-statement.

Re: RPI_V4.1.0-RC7 - Disk full
Disk full could be as simple as the card you are using is too small (4GB works but 8,16,32 would be better (I use 16GB cards [class 10 or U1] in mine) ) I don't think the image does it automatically so also try running sudo pistar-expand on any new images you make as a first command in SSH (through ...

Re: DMR Gateway for a dumb smart person
In my original reply I stated I do not have a DUAL board so I am no longer of help here. But No program the radio as TG 310 on TS 2 on your Hotspot frequency -- REFLECTORS use the 4xxx in both Brandmeister AND DMR+ but do not necessarily go to the same places using the same number. I won't use them ...

Re: DMR Gateway for a dumb smart person
OK dumb smart person :-) - here we go! The DMRGateway does allow for Brandmeister (TG9/TS2)*, DMR+ (TG8/TS2)*, DMR2YSF OR (not and) DMR2NXDN (TG 7/TS2)*, and XLX (TG 6/TS2)* * Hotspots can only use Time Slot 2 UNLESS you have a duplex board (2 antennae) - and in the case of a duplex board, someone e...

Re: WIFI with no password
What I think the ones saying 'No you can't do that' is Open networks that have a "landing Page" or You must agree to our terms of use before using our internet type pages. This will not work as you have no way to have the Pi-Star do that automatically (think Starbucks, some conference plac...

Re: DMR2YSF Master
Not enough info - and by what you have pictured, do YOU hear YOU? You are connected to a PARROT. What happens when you transmit? do you see your Local RF show you transmitting? And if you can hear, what are you hearing, again you are connected to a Parrot. We can help but we need more than a screens...

Re: Connect to BM and DMR-MARC at the same time?
I was under the impression that DMR-MARC did not allow 'home-brew' (non-Batwing or Hytera repeaters) on the system. So, if you added DMR-MARC master, please share as here in Maine , it's all we have and I'd like to get the repeaters here in Maine on the hotspot, then BM wouldn't matter so much to me...

Re: CONFIGURATION
Pi zero, Pi3 Pi4 ? If pi3 or 4 use a wired connection - believe me, its faster . If pi Zero - how long did you wait? The AP (access Point) mode can take up to 3 minutes to show in a wifi list It shows as either pistar-setup, or pi-star-setup (I have seen it both ways. If this is a new burn (new Pi-S...
