This definitely indicates the 7 character callsign issue
Alan
The 7th character is being removed arbitrarily during transmission but this does not happen during normal DStar transmission either via digital repeaters OR via any digital hotspot RF comms.Search found 77 matches

Re: DStar Terminal Mode - DStarRepeater
Hmm well that's not true.
I use my ICOM51APlus2 on DStar without issue on digital mode reflectors (as well as analog).
It only fails when using the RS-MS3W software and when using the piStar set as DStarRepeater/Terminal Mode.

DStar Terminal Mode - DStarRepeater
DStarRepeaterTerminal.PNG I am trying to get Terminal Mode running - I can get it running to listen to. But I cannot Tx. I am suspicious that it is because of my 7 letter callsign which works fine in all other areas of DSStar but this one... and using the RS-WS3A Terminal app which tries to cut my ...

BM Manager - reset
BM Manager.png Hi - I've installed the BM Manager But I've tried all the options with no luck I'm trying to reset (disengage from TG91) with no luck. When a QSO is going on it's sometimes near impossible to get a PC to 4000 inserted between overs. With Selfcare you can select and remove TG91 but it...

OK - TG400, not 4000 cancels the dynamic TG connection

Disconnect VKDMR without Re-boot
I have a question on how to disengage from VKDMR. I do not set any static groups. My OPTIONS are TS1_1=TG4000; TS2_1=TG4000; So the dashboard shows no static groups on boot-up. I key down on a group, say 505, and I have 15 minutes to listen and take part. But I may want to disengage before the 15 mi...
