YSF2DMR has no "Options" for DMR+ servers

I use DMR+_IPSC2 servers most of the time for DMR. When in DMR mode, the DMR Configuration panel has a 'DMR+ Network:' setting to create a "Options=" statement. This is used to set the static talkgroups on the server and it works great. However, if you are running YSF + YSF2DMR, the DMR ne...

YSF Reflector List format - "Not Linked"

In an earlier post "Shorten/Limit WIRES-X List" , I found the solution to the problem of my Hotspot being "Not Linked" each morning the past few days. https://forum.pistar.uk/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1661 As Andy posted, the YSF Reflector format was changed to include dashes inste...

Re: Ebay MMDVM boards

Just like a lot of other crap on Ebay, you'd be lucky to get any support or documentation. It looks like a "MMDVM" Radio Modem (not Hotspot), to connect with a radio or repeater. There are lots of alternatives that are produced by real HAMs, who do provide support. eg: STM32 based modem bo...

Re: Debugging problems with YSF Wires-X (RF ?)

YSF is more complex, you may have to adjust the YSFTXLevel in MMDVMHost with Expert menu.
When the repeater replys to send ALL it sends 26 lines of text at once. To make it more reliable copy increase/decrease the YSFTXLevel .

Re: NXDN issues latest pistar image

If you mean by latest the "image" to be Download of 3.4.11 of Mar-17, then yes a number of things would need updating. As always run the UPDATE on a new image for the latest "updates". NXDNGateway was dated April-28. All NXDN works great with Pi-Star:3.4.13 / Dashboard: 20180519....

Re: InactivityTimeout Parameter missing from Config

My NXDN repeater has stayed connected to a Reflector 302 for days, so InactivityTimeout must be 0. (Default MMDVM-NXDNGateway has InactivityTimeout=10) I did see something interesting in the log from yesterday, starting 11:00 it began loading the reflector list every hour. It stopped at the overnigh...

Re: Change rooms

Testing YSF DTMF today on two of my repeaters and its very erratic. The regernated tones are intermittent and the "9" seems to bounce a lot giving me 299 instead of 290. Not the tone pad problem, as I used 2 different radios and 2 different modes/repeater setups. Getting good BER with C4FM...

NXDN Talkgroups

I'm new to NXDN but there seems to be a severe limitation on the number of talkgroups the radios can use. Example, the NX-340 has a "Group ID" list of only 8. There are already almost a dozen Talkgroup/Reflectors. So, in Pi-Star, is it expected we can Select the TG/Reflector from the drop-...

Re: NXDN hosts Files

Now that NXDNGateway is live with 3.4.12, can someone tell us the Source of the NXDNHosts.txt files so we can supply updates?
Already using a local copy in /root.

Re: NXDN PI B +

I am using NXDN right now on a Pi-3B+ with the Beta image, no problem with a Zumspot.
I did have problems with USB modems not working, but the GPIO Zumspot is fine.
