Re: mmdvm poscag
I don't see why not. Just turn all other modes OFF and leave POCSAG ON Apply Changes and wait.... POCSAG sends your ID every 10 Minutes on RIC (CAPCODE) 8. If it works, you'll know and - and if it doesn't , well you'll know that too. I also imagine it would have to, if people are building the 'wide ...

Re: Radio Info Panel showing Trx Blank
1- if your firmware is showing HS_Hat 1.3.3 you are WAY behind -- from command line (or COnfig->Expert->SSH Access run: sudo pistar-mmdvmhshatflash hs_hat [enter] HS_Hat should be (either)1.4.6 or 1.4.8 -- a friend is 1.4.8 but mine won't take it so 1.4.6 also is acceptable. 2 if you push PTT what h...

Re: Changing reflectors from radio screen
Being I do not have a Yeasu radio, nor any YSF repeaters where I live[a firend of mine does] (I may be talking out my @$$ but: Everything my friend says is in order to see the rooms on the radios you need the HMI-200 [we find he can grab what he wants from the YSF repeater he can reach and save to a...

Re: Board identification
My question is - if the board works, on D-Star and DMR, what other modes did you want/need? Also if this does work the command for the upgrade of firmware of sudo pistar-mmdvmhshatflash hs_hat is confirmed. There is another board you could try (similar to the STM32_MMDVM but it has 2 call signs in i...

Re: Raspberry Pi 2 with Tontec Touchscreen
By looking at the pictures in the 'ad' I would have to say no, as many of the pins you need are taken up by the MMDVM or Jumbo or Zum or whatever boards. I am no expert and you can certainly try but on visual from details given, no.
Hardware gurus, prove me wrong.

Re: will not connect to wifi but AP is working and I can connect to the AP
Not that it would make a whole lot of difference, but maybe when the 'bad' Pi0 went to renew its IP lease something went horribly wrong and a lease could not be obtained, shutting off for a day may have released the IP lease and gave a new IP instead. If your router can do 'RESERVE" IP tables se...

Re: hardware button to shut down
OK fols - there is a 'glitch' somewhere: My Pi-Star is set correctly with the Remote (my Callsign is the only one that will shut the device down) and Shutdown uncommented, BUT a Private Call to the shutdown code of 9999996 gets sent and in 5 seconds or so "Secret Not Found" is heard on TG ...

Re: DMR2YSF is it working ?
I understand your pain, which is WHY I use DMR2NXDN instead , here you prefix the NXDN TalkGroup with 7 e.g 765000 or 701200 (must be 5 digits).
You want to move around to different YSF rooms? you need a true YSF radio. Sorry, but that's the way it is ....right now anyways.

Re: DMR2YSF is it working ?
No, this is normal as DMR2YSF does not disconnect simply because you changed back to TG9, the DMR2YSF is on until you turn off the mode, and since you cannot change rooms on the fly, if you pick a busy room (like the CQ-UK YSF reflector your pi-star will always go back to it whenever there is activi...

Re: NXDN Information
The way I read how the host files are read (and I will have to check this, my STAR is not on right now) is that you put the 'custom' stuff into /root/NXDNHOSTS.txt (to do this you must be root, I do not think using sudo nano /root/NXDNHOSTS.txt will work as this is the folder for the root user, so y...
