A more serious issue, though.. along with this, it seems the Hotspot is forced into DN mode even when you go into it in VW mode.

YSF startup should be on "ysf2dmr" although, the latest updates seem to have broken the ysf2dmr

For what reason? When the server changeover is done, prime will cease to exist. The prime address is just a beta test area.
