For sanity you'd be better off just making a fresh image of pistar...

Global disable APRS

Would it be possible to include a global setting that would set all APRS to 0 so that it's totally disabled? I'll explain my reasoning, I run the tier2 server T2TAS and the amount of failed duplicate callsign login attempts from those who run multiple hotspots causes quit a lot of unnecessary traffi...

Re: Zum Radio MMDVM for Pi Rev 1.0

Ahh... the MCU was the issue! Yes the version of stm32flash that's provided with pi-star does not have support for the STM32F7xx chip! The version 0.9 has the STM32F4xx chip and that will update just fine (with some additional packages installed) Anyway glad you got it all sorted... Sent from my Pix...

Re: Zum Radio MMDVM for Pi Rev 1.0

Did you update your firmware from... https://github.com/g4klx/MMDVM Or from another source? Also what are your settings for the Nextion, should use modem if connected directly to the board. Oh and check the Config.h (in the mmdvm source code łto ensure that the serial pass through is enabled otherwi...

Re: DMRGateway Slot1 not working

Has you repeater been using pistar for a while and gone through several updates? Because the configuration file obviously change as the dual timeslot was introduced. It is possible that the default configs that are used in doing a factory reset might not have been updated (you would see warning that...

Re: Using an FTM-7250DR with Pi-Star

G'day, I've got the FTM-7250D in my car, the operation is identical to the FT-70D. The menu is almost identical. The Wires-X key is P3 and the # is used to send the room number (12345#) and the * is used to disconnet. You the long press P3 to exit the wires-X mode. That's the super simple explanatio...

Re: Additional USB port required for Nextion

You are looking for UDEV-rules. That's the way to assign fixed dev-nodes to physical devices. The OP has raised the issue of of using two ttyUSBx that the selection of the connection is limited to only /dev/ttyUSB0 in the web-ui drop down menu, but if you have two devices attached (USB MMDVM device...

Re: Voice announcement

Hi Andrew, On the NXDN side the announcements are loud and almost to the point of distorting, sometimes the IC-F4161DS won't decode the announcement but will start to receive as soon as the announcement is made and transmission from another station is taking place. Ok I'll head on over to github and...

Voice announcement

Would it be possible to redo the voice files as they're way too loud! Especially when you are using ysf2nxdn they are just too loud and distorted. IMHO they could do be reduced by 50% in loudness and that would solve the problem!

Thoughts?
