Re: Band 435-438mhz

Yes you can override the restriction, however you will need to compile the firmware yourself. Now before you say "but I can't do that!" the process is not that difficult and there is a step by step instruction that you can copy and paste all the commands. This is located on the following u...

Re: Icom ID51 Oh dear should I have taken on this task ??

The main mistake people make when setting up a dstar radio for use with pistar is that you must treat it like a repeater, BUT you use a 0.00 duplex offset. Without doing so you will have the exact problem you have described! So instead of importing the very out of date repeater listing for importing...

Re: Dashboard in iFrame ?

Firstly is your club website running over https? If so you can't place a http iframe within secured (https) content. So you can't have a mixture of http/https as this was considered a security risk several years ago. So you'll need to either implement https on your pistar systems (something that has...

Re: FM Mode Support

You will need to update the firmware of your controller to be at least 20200520 (think that's the format used) otherwise it will not work as intended.

Re: Noises with FT-70D

Make sure you have disabled AMS on the frequency, otherwise you will get some data received as FM instead of C4FM.

Wow. That is absolutely what the issue was. I hadn't even realized that through mode was set. Thank you everyone for your help! (now I have to figure out what to do with the second dual hat I just ordered. :D ) Set one for Brandmeister and the other for DMR+ and enjoy both networks! Sent from my Pi...

Re: how to setup pi-star to automatically reconnect to the YSF Reflector if looses connection

Scroll down towards the bottom of the ysfgw config and look for the network and change revert from 0 to 1 and ensure that you have the target in the start up (most likely already is) Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200522/7b0049dc10b2f539f586ab8e2c1fba41.jpg

Re: what do you use

I have a pair of Icom IC-F3161DS (VHF) IC-F4161DS (UHF) nxdn radio's.

These fall into the first generation category of radio as they don't have any bells & whistles (no text message or gps)

So for use with mmdvm they get the job done!

Re: P25 Linked to will not change (cannot unlink/change TG)

The log files for Pi-star are available in /var/log/pistar and that will be populated with whatever modes you have active. You may want to add tg9999 to your P25 list to disconnect from a given reflector, but it's not necessary to disconnect before keying up another... Also tg10 is the local echo te...
