Re: Rewrite Rules in Simplex Node

Yes, I have a simplex hotspot.

No, TS1 is not enabled, it is disabled.

The question is, where are the rewrite rules for TS1 defined, in Pi-Star or in the Master server?

Rewrite Rules in Simplex Node

Within the DMR configuration, the DMR Master "DMRGateway" has some default rewrite rules, which can be edited. When selecting either DMR+ or BrandMeister as Master, there doesn't seem to be any rewrite rules, but I assume that there must be some somewhere as TS1 is disabled. Are the rewrit...

Re: Parrot Issue - Live Log entries

Hi Alan, I don't know of a similar dashboard for BM, but you can get some info on the https://hose.brandmeister.network/ and https://brandmeister.network/ page. With the Brand Meister and VKDMR talk groups, TG380x groups are shared on both sites. What had me completely stumped was that TG505 is not ...

Re: Parrot Issue - Live Log entries

Re: Noob Problems. Please school me

Hi,

in pistar2.jpg " "Modes Enabled" "D-Star" is red. Indicates DV-Mega is not working with the Pi Zero.

I am not an expert, others may be able to offer more help. You could download and check the log in Admin, Live Logs page.

Hope this is some help.

Re: DVRPTR V1 and Raspberry Pi 4B

It seems the DVRPTR V1 USB modem is not yet functional on Pi-Star 4B+ with the latest release candidate. I eventually powered up the old Raspberry Pi 2011.12 board to see if it would work with Pi-Star V3.4.17..... bingo: I: 2019-12-22 01:14:10: Modem type set to "DV-RPTR V1" I: 2019-12-22 ...

Re: DVRPTR V1 and Raspberry Pi 4B

Carlos,

Thanks for the advice. It has been a few days since I last tried so I will try again later today with a fresh install of Pi-Star.

DVRPTR V1 and Raspberry Pi 4B

I have a Raspberry Pi 4B 4Gb RAM I have been using for another project, and a DVRPTR V1 that has been in the cupboard for a few years. The firmware currently on the DVRPTR is V1.69b, and I have tried different firmware versions, however Pi-Star on the Pi 4B either cannot find the device or says the ...
