Re: M17 mode HAT firmware support
Will STM32F1xx modem boards support higher serial speeds than 115200? I know that they're not fast enough for FM, but OK with digital modes?

Re: mobile dmr hotspot set up
What is the MMDVM board you are using? You need to check a few things, the mobile WiFi you want to connect to needs to match the bands available on the Pi. This is likely to be 2.4GHz only on older Pi models, I can't remember what a 3+ has by the way of WiFi capability. If the Pi and MMDVM are worki...

Re: Future support for STM32F1 boards?
There is definitely some interaction on my FT-3D. Radio FM deviation WIDE, YSF LowDeviation 0 = works. Radio FM deviation NARROW, YSF LowDeviation 0 = NOT working. Radio FM Deviation NARROW, YSF LowDeviation 1 = works. Radio FM deviation WIDE, YSF LowDeviation 1 = NOT working And my BER is in the g...

Re: Jumbospot Firmware update
I should have mentioned the findmdem command reports it a AFD7021 chip but does not show frequency. Is a clone classed as generic? I don't know how the various different names have evolved, all I can say is that everything works fine for me using the 2nd entry in the list. It is entirely possible t...

Re: Jumbospot Firmware update
Very probably 14.7456MHz, it's essentially a clone of the DB9MAT/DF2ET board.

Re: Future support for STM32F1 boards?
I now have YSF working again with 4.2.0 beta. The change that fixed it was setting LowDeviation to 1 in the MMDVMHost settings. Mode on my FT-3D is set to DN. I'll go away and research what this does. DN and VW mode have the same modulation parameters but use different codecs and hence the packet c...

Re: Zumspot 2018 version
I just ran it on a Pi Zero 2W running Pi-Star 4.2.0 with a HS_HAT clone on it and it happily updated it to v1.6.1 without any problems.

Re: M17 mode HAT firmware support
I've managed to build some firmware from a link Andy posted, although it's not resolved my YSF issue. There's also an on-line builder that produces V1.6.0 (but you have to know which switches to turn on!) https://forum.pistar.uk/viewtopic.php?p=24018#p24018 . I just cloned the Github then built it ...
