If you leave them on 24/7 as many do, try to get in the habit of unlinking them from tgs, repeaters, reflectors etc. So they don't burn up resources when not being used.

You tune rx offset to match the rock in the hotspot to the tx of the user radio. To tune an off set go to the expert section.
