Re: DMR2YSF is it working ?

OK, let's see if I can help explain stuff for you. When W1MSG made the videos (the DMRGateway configuration videos show TG 7 and how he was changing rooms - I do not know). As far as I have experienced here is how DMRGateway 'routes' the varios networks (up to 4 but a caveat -- later) Your Brandmeis...

Re: Change DMR TG with Web Interface?

Read this article from Brandmeister itself. Has all you need to know. If you don't already have a BM account (I used my Call Sign) you need to do that first.

Re: connecting with a cell phone (android)

You don't need the intermediary piece on the PiZero, just do what I said -- the PiZero can connect directly with your phone , just follow the directions.

Re: connecting with a cell phone (android)

And there in is your issue: You are compairing the 'taste' of Apples to Bananas -- the reason your Openspot works is you don't configure the connection in the Openspot, you do it in the TPLink and then plug in a WIRE for the internet. It's also why the Shark is 2 to 3 times the price. Easy way get a...

Re: How to config on Pi-Star

OK, you have 4 different screenshots kind of melded together, so let me break this down for you: Configuration->put in pi-star/raspberry [standards unless you changed your password] as username and password - only happens the first time that day as it creates a cookie that expires when you close the...

Re: Change DMR TG with Web Interface?

If network is Brandmeister, get a Brandmeister API Key, load into your COmmander (if it runs Pi-Star) and after that you will have a few more options on the Admin page for you to Drop all QSOs so you can TRY to get out of 310.

Re: WiFi AP Issues after Initial Setup

This is normal -- if you get the wireless network Pi-Star. this is what is supposed to happen. A pi-star is an AP (Access Point) which does not have internet by design. Pi-Star will sometimes NOT work -- try 192.168.50.1 Pi-star setup ONLY happens when you try for the FIRST time -- once it 'knows of...

Re: Interface is down

Once in the dashboard -- note the HOSTNAME, normally pistar (or pi-star [ I changed mine as I was working on a friend's at the same time] ) and you can just go to a browser and type http://pi-star/ and you should see the dashboard also -- what you type in the browser is what is in the HOSTNAME field...

Re: Interface is down

Interface is down is also shown if you run a Pi3 and keep it plugged in by wire to a router (set and forget I call it) as the only thing that sows is for WIRELESS, so if you are seeing interface is down this may be my guess as to why, but just in case OK, here goes again, please search forum before ...

Re: SSID name and password

I've read that too, on FB group people say just change it. I said exactly your situation, no control over the creds. I have not tried myself as I don't need to, but I would say , from a different network (cell perhaps) get into config->Expert->WiFi and copy the Network { ... } section and the substi...
