Just played around with this. Started Zumspot (Pi0 w/heatsink) . Did not use HT( no local activity) and logged in from computer every half hour to check temp. 1st two hours temp was 95F. approximately just after hour two temp went up to 106F.

Running 4.0.0-RC2 on Zumspot with Pi0. Usually temp runs 94F when running ver 3.4.16. Same conditions under 4.0.0-RC2 it is running 105F.

I am running 4.0.0-RC2 and the Model8 display with nextion driver. If you use config back up and restore, make sure you load pi-star, then install driver before you restore config. Not using this order will cause issues.

Few questions. You said you copied the compiled file to the SD card. Did you format the SD card correctly prior to copying it? When you boot the Display with the SD card installed in the slot, Power it up with only power and ground ( no TX/RX). You should see it loading the display file and finally ...

Nextion 3.2 display with Model 8 display and latest Nextion driver. After the sleep fix works great, however never see the BER populated. in Display does show correctly ins dashboard.
