Re: DMR Slot 2, overflow in the DMR slot RF queue
If you have a spare power outlet on a UPS, you might try that to see if if moderates any voltage variation from the main lines. Back around 1977/78, my college /mainframe/ tended to crash around 8AM each day, and had to be rebooted. They finally tracked it down to the college PBS station (located in...

Re: PI zero and Win 11
Thanks for the reply . How would I tell if the router / hub is holding anything ?. For info , the card that works was loaded using the computer when it was running Win 10 , the card that doesn't seem to work was loaded with the computer now running Win 11 , I'm wondering if Win 11 is writing to the...

Re: PI zero and Win 11
Note: the dashboard /runs/ on the R-Pi web server, it just displays in a browser window.
Have you ensured the R-Pis have different host names assigned to them! If both have the same (default) host name, it is random chance as to which one your router considers to be "correct".

Re: Pi-star drops D-Star connection regularly.
Check the TIME ZONE setting of the R-Pi. I'd expect NTP to bring the R-Pi up to correct UTC time, but an incorrect time zone would shift the time of CRON jobs.

Try pistar-update/pistar-upgrade (from SSH session) -- your dashboard seems a bit dated (mine shows 20221114)

Re: Pi-Star Transmit Falls Asleep After 5 mins in Duplex
Hopefully someone can guide me to why the gatewayType gets reset, or I will have to leave timeserver on and / or make sure to reset the gatewaytype anytime I make changes to the config. Essentially: once you make a change using the "expert" configuration, you must make ALL future changes ...

Re: Pi-Star Transmit Falls Asleep After 5 mins in Duplex
Update to this in case anyone else has the issue. I played with a number of settings to see what affect they had. I was sure a 10 min hang time would delay the problem for 10 mins but it didn't do anything. Pi-star would fail to rout the audio to the reflector and the TX radio after 5 mins just lik...

Re: Pi-Star Transmit Falls Asleep After 5 mins in Duplex
The server is set to time out after 5mins. Log into your selfcare acc. Look at the sysop section (providing its a repeater, else itll be listed under hotspots) and set the TG's your interested in as static, so keeping them connected. Pardon, but this thread is in the D-STAR group, not DMR -- no &qu...

Re: Current Latest Stable Version
Regardless of what you write to the flash memory (unless you have a 3.x image lying around -- that is quite stale), as soon as you run update/upgrade (which is highly recommended) you will be back at 4.1.6. You probably need to SSH into the unit and examine the log files after any occurrence of &quo...
