Re: Icom RP2c / Ambe decoding
Yep. The little L shown in the display. Yeah thats loss coming over the net. Agreed. When you say ambe do you mean /ambe showing in the callsign? I've an idea they might be using software running on a mobile phone. Have a google search re: Droidstar. Sent via smoke signals from my SM-G935F M1DNS (Ad...

Re: Icom RP2c / Ambe decoding
L in the eighth position is used to link. As set in the UR field. ie xlxoooAL Link to: xlx000 module A. Is that what ur seeing? If not ive never seen anything transmitting, identifying L It might be a callsign misconfiguration in the user radio. Otherwise might need a bit more info, in trying to und...

Re: Brandmeister Dual-Hat Issue - Duplex Fails / Simplex Works
Unless im missing something specific to usa it doesnt matter what freqs are used (as long as they are in band) only that they are different to one another. One other consideration is that the callsign and ID used for the login must also match. Sent via smoke signals from my SM-G935F M1DNS (Admin)

Re: GPS/APRS.fi via radio
My radio(s) are set up to send gps out (Id-51, Id-52, Id-5100) however going through a hotspot does not result in my location showing up on aprs.fi. If I key up through a dstar repeater, it does. My question was how do I get it to show up on aprs.fi going through a hotspot which it sounds like, is ...

Re: VPN option and custom billboard on dashboard.
. lets consider this another feature request. Yeah, total missed the fact you were posting in feature request section. As to unlinking a reflector connection, I've posted that quite a few times here in the forum, a search should find it. To save me writing it all out agn [emoji2] Sent via smoke sig...

Re: GPS/APRS.fi via radio
If you attach a serial gps device to the Pi Pistar can make use of the location data it produces. But remember it isnt a tracking service. Pistar wont send regular gps updates as the info is only sent out on the initial boot. Gps data sent from your radio however does get sent out with each keyup. I...

Re: Brandmeister Dual-Hat Issue - Duplex Fails / Simplex Works
Yeah you should have no issue running a duplex hotspot with it logging in using a 7digit ID You need to ensure if its set to duplex you have seperate tx and rx freqs entered. Bm server will check this info if both freqs are entered the same it will presumes its a wrongly configured simplex install a...

Re: State of D-Star Repeater Software
You wont be using dstarrepeater.
You'll be using ircddbgateway
https://github.com/g4klx/ircDDBGateway
Thats what 'talks' to ur icom stack and what gives you the extra abilities to link with more than just ur current dplus reflectors.

Re: Pi-Star Remote
If you kill a service, you can start them back up agn using the command line.
If you shutdown, you cannot.
Whilst they may appear a similiar outcome, they are both quite different.

Yes you can add tgs to a scan list in ur radio and it will run through any statics you might have set.
