Re: Pi-Star update

The image and support hasnt been written for the other boards. If you have anything but a raspberry pi, your currently stuck at 3.4

Vers. 5 is the new dashboard build, which is still very much under developement.

Re: Long PTT for YSF

Try adjusting rx offset slightly to improve BER aiding the install to better recognise you. But as said the initial Xbutton burst is a very short tx.

If not I’ll put a note on the repeater website about it.

Yep. One def. help would be to turn off all the other modes. [emoji3]

If your BER is 0.2 that's fine, generally anything below 0.8 will do.

Re: Weird happening with OLED scrolling

Check your settings. recently an update was pushed out using the overnights that default scrolling to off. This was to help with newer screen types coming out that don't fully support scrolling and corrupt the screen image. As yours does support it, just turn it back on. Sent from my SM-G935F using ...

Re: Long PTT for YSF

Yep, that's the way you need run it. When idle the data burst from a X command is often to short to wake the install. Keying up before hand allows the modem to grab and 'lock' to the mode.

Re: DG-ID on C4FM

Very late... But anyhow: does it mean that as of now, we can use DG-IDs on our pi-stars out of the box? Because I tried to connect to europelink with my pi-star 4 , but I couldn't be able to change rooms using DG-IDs on ft-70 (nor login pressing mode and setting RXXRXX not with WDGID)... Thanks Mat...

Re: FT70 Europelink

No. Pistar doesn't currently support dgid. all calls are routed using dgid 00

Re: Duplex Hotspot Disconnect

Basically... a hotspot is tx or rx. Simplex install or duplex install doesn't matter. 1x7021 chip or 2x 7021 chips, irrespective. server traffic Tx, no server traffic Rx.

On a repeater (true repeater) the rx is always listening locally.
