Re: Secondary Login in Pi-Star

Web passwords are kept in a different file than system passwords. "man htpasswd" will give you all the details, but after rpi-rw, essentially you want: sudo htpasswd -b /var/www/.htpasswd va2dg password The web user/password is entirely arbitrary and can be different than any system user/p...

Re: DMR to Dstar crossmode configuration

Hi, I want to configure my Jumbospot to allow me to use my DMR radio to access Reflector 001C....I want to configure my Jumbospot to go crossmode from DMR to Dstar....I think I may need to use XRF reflectors somehow?...Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not sure why netbios appears open (unless it is not a response from pi-star and is something in the firewall?)
It's an installed default for some arcane reason:
$ grep 139 /etc/iptables.rules
-A INPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 139 -j ACCEPT

Re: XRF Reflector listing

I'll again suggest that the XRF815 is somehow misconfigured, as it doesn't appear in either http://ar-dns.net/xlx or the local hosts files: $ lynx -dump http://ar-dns.net/xlx | grep -i xrf815 $ grep -i xrf815 /usr/local/etc/*txt $ host xrf815.k0jsc.com xrf815.k0jsc.com has address 69.144.255.148 $ l...

Re: XRF Reflector listing

XRF815 69.144.255.148 It's interesting that the IP address appears twice in https://ar-dns.net/bad as "changing addresses at time intervals of less than 5 minutes (based on last report)": $ lynx -dump https://ar-dns.net/bad | grep -E "Value|69.144.255.148" Record Type Name Value...

Re: RPi 3 A+ running V4.1.0 RC7

Not sure why "sudo" was suggested for the vcgencmd invocation, but it's not at all necessary.

Re: Don’t know what to do next

The OP clearly indicated that (s)he was linking a reflector.

You previously indicated My/RPT2 as G6KEE B/G. Those 2 fields in addition to RPT1: also require a D-Star registered call sign.
