Re: MMDVM decoding
No reason it shouldn't work... unless you are trying to collect it directly rather than over RF.

Re: Fan power and control based on CPU temp
there are a couple of PWM scripts that will switch a transistor to run a fan at variable speed, that kind of thing should work well.

Re: Mmdvm hs hat duplex getting to work
If you have a dual hat with separate Tx and Rx RF sections, you just need to pick one of the dual modems in the drop down list.

Re: RPi 3 - BlueStack on USB - How?
I read your first post, and was sat here trying to work out how you were having such a hard time, yes as you discovered the magic is;
Switch the switch to the in position, select the (maybe not quite obvious enough) modem option
And yes thats all there is to it

Re: InactivityTimeout Parameter missing from Config
If you add, but comment the parameter, my dashboard just removes it from the config (because that has the exact same effect).
It maybe that we need to add it in there with a value of 0 to keep the connection up.

Re: "TG 0"
BER relates to RF losses, Loss is packet loss. It could be at the ingress to the network point (so remote side repeater to the reflector) or it could be between the reflector and your hotspot / repeater, that I cannot answer, for your own system, if its on WiFi make sure the signal is good and that ...

Re: Change rooms
Karl, My DV-Mega has been through an awful lot to be fair, its been hardware modified (sma removed, compact ISM (433) coil antenna soldered to the board) etc etc, I can in no way suggest that anything mine does (or doesn't do) is normal :) Its also old and has been flashed I just dont know how many ...

Re: Change rooms
Yes - I have that exact issue with my DV-Mega, I can't seem to get the BER low enough for that to be reliable, DTMF gives me similar problems too, again with the high (4-6%) BER that I am seeing, DTMF is pretty much un-usuable. Swapping to an alternative modem made my issues go away entirely, I have...

Re: Using Pistar to flash DVMEGA hat on a RPi
I have run into a low number of boards where I just cannot flash them, no matter what, not sure what the issue with them is, it's rare but it can happen. For the most part, once the jumper is in the correct place, flashing is straight forwards, I specifically do not list the instructions on where th...
