POG MMVDM

I installed my POG MMDVM board onto my Raspberry PI 3B+ running the latest Beat version of PI-Star. I built a cable and interfaced it with a Yeasu FT1500. I can link to my reflector VIA the dashboard and I can transmit thru my reflector VIA another radio and my other Zumspot. When I do this it the M...

Re: Icom 4100 - Access Point Mode

Have you tried changing from terminal mode to access point before you link to a reflector or a least when there is no activity on the reflector? I have a Raspberry Pi 3B+ running Pi-star. My cable form the Pi to the 4100 is Icom cable. I have not experienced the issues that you have. Wished I coould...

Re: MMDVM Board - XD3804300

I am getting ready to set up one of these boards on my PI 3B+. Was wondering if anyone could tell me which modem configuration would be correct with the POG board? I plan on interfacing this setup with a Yeasu FT1500. Would the Squelch line need to be connected to the COS (carrier on sense). Thanks ...

Re: Pi Star will not go read only

I believe that I have solved it. I have my LAN setup with 2 Linksys E1200 routers. One of them is the main router that is the DHCP server, and the other is just setup as an access point. The 192.168.1.155 must be the IP link between the 2 routers. If I disconnect the #2 router the message in the sys...

Re: Pi Star will not go read only

This is what I get when I ping it with the ping test in my router

This is what I get when I do a trace route

Would that show that the IP address of 192.168.1.155 is coming from the 64.77.244.1? If so that is coming from outside of my LAN.

Re: Pi Star will not go read only

I don't have anything connected to my LAN with that IP address. My DHCP server assigns from 1.2 to 1.51 a total of 50 available addresses. I have shut off multiple devices connected to my network and I am still seeing that. I will keep investigating. Strange, before I upgraded to the most recent ver...

Pi Star will not go read only

I just upgraded my Pi-Star to v4.1.0 RC7. I SSH into it VIA Tera Term and made some changes to that I need for my setup, and when I try to go back to read only I see this. rpi-ro mount: /: mount point is busy. pi-star@pi-star(rw):~$ rpi-ro mount: /: mount point is busy. pi-star@pi-star(rw):~$ Any Id...

Re: MMDVM board compatible with 3B+?

Thanks Andrew,
Do I have to reimage my SD card to upgrade? Or do you use the upgrade button in the expert menu?
Thanks again

Re: MMDVM board compatible with 3B+?

I went ahead and ordered the board from the Ebay seller. I will test it on my PI 3B+ and report if it works. If it doesn't I will just acquire a Pi Zero W and go from there. 73 Ed AK7AN Just remember if ur using the 3B+ Pi download and install the 4.1 release from pistar.uk/beta as the 3.4 releases...
