Re: No RX audio in YSF2DMR (ver. 4.1.0)
The latest patch still doesn't work for all radios. The ft70d is one that doesn't work.

Re: TGIF just one way!
Try adding an ssid number to your dmr ID. In the drop down box, add a 01 02.....whatever. then retry tgif

Re: Two Frequency Operation in Simplex Mode
Sure it will. Just set it to "duplex repeater" and the option to add a tx and rx frequency will appear.VE3RD wrote:RC7 will not allow me to set my duplex hotspot into duplex mode. It keeps kicking back to simplex.
Time to reflash back to RC6

Re: Two Frequency Operation in Simplex Mode
Yes. It's a simplex hotspot. Only one frequency is used.VE3RD wrote:upgraded to RC7 with all the updates and simplex mode still only allows one frequency.

Re: DMR->D-Star issues
It is not possible to do a dmr to dstar. Mmdvms don't work that way. They'd need an AMBE chip.

Re: Is "Talker Alias" adequate for legal ID in the USA
What causes you to see a call on your radio is your built in database. It associates a dmr I'd to a call. That isn't a.legit id.
Now talker alias is inserting a call. Not sure if that counts or not. Id verbally just to be sure.

Re: How does a DMR hotspot or repeater station legally ID?
As Andrew mentioned....there is a cw Id function. Enable it, and you will then be legal.

Re: Rewrite Rules in Simplex Node
Yes, I have a simplex hotspot. No, TS1 is not enabled, it is disabled. The question is, where are the rewrite rules for TS1 defined, in Pi-Star or in the Master server? On a simplex hotspot, ts1 is supposed to be disabled. TS1 is not available on a simplex hotspot. Period. Sent from my SM-A102U usi...
