Would it matter that my wifi analyzer shows the pi-star as being on channel 6, while my WiFi is on Channel 9??

My iPad sees the Pi just fine and logs in to the Dashboard.

I just ordered a new Pi Zero W from Amazon.

Hopefully the Pi is the problem.

My phone sees the pi-star network but it can not obtain the IP address.

You can't actually connect to your wireless network while your computer and hotspot are connected via the private Auto AP network. Instead, after you enter your wireless network information, you need to disconnect your computer from the Pi-Star-Setup network and reconnect it to your regular wireless...
