Re: Using an FTM-7250DR with Pi-Star
My 7250 is working fine via a repeater. On the Pi-Star hotspot (DVMega Dual Band), I can connect to AmericaLink. The dashboard shows traffic, the radio is showing full scale reception but no audio. The Blue light is blinking. I did a factory reset in Pi-Star and re-entered all configuration data. Re...

Using an FTM-7250DR with Pi-Star
I have been working with the FTM-100DR for a couple weeks and think I have it working as well as I can get to work with the current Pi-star software, but I picked up a FTM-7250DR for the Shack because of its Form Factor (front firing speaker, mic jack location, etc). It seems to be quite different i...

Re: Dual Band DVMega Issue
If you are wondering, I have discovered that, at least in my case, I cannot use Repeater frequencies. If I use 145.000 the Hotspot works fine on VHF. Changing to 145.11, the hotspot does not work. Strange. I can use the Hotspot now but if anyone has a clue why 145.11 or 148.82 or 147.33 did not, I w...

Dual Band DVMega Issue
I am having trouble getting my Dual Band DVMega to work on VHF. Specifically testing using YSF (YSF ONlY). I have tried other modes such as DMR with the same results. I have tried frequencies at both the High end and low end of the band. When the Startup group is AmericLink, the dashboard is showing...

Re: DMR2YSF and call sign display on dashboard
Seeing my call on the Dashboard freaked me out and I started messing with my Hotspot immediately.
Suggested fix is to use "UNKNOWN" instead of displaying my own call. That I understand.

Re: Changing reflectors from radio screen
Same issues with the FTM-100DR. On that radio the "#" disconnects from the room it appears. It would be nice if there user a user "ROOM" list where you could list rooms that always appear at the top of the list so the Search is seldom needed and "All" is never needed. j...

Re: WiresX Auto Passthrough
Another piece to the pie. When I use my Duplex Hotspot with V7 RC3. I set it to "Simplex" and that keeps showing in "Configuration" but in the MMDVMHost file it shows Duplex as a "1" which I assume is "Yes". YSF misbehaves when this is on. Setting it to "...

Re: WiresX Auto Passthrough
I have spent another 4 hours and came to the conclusion that: 1. the problem is probably the interaction between the FTM-100DR and either the YSFGateway or Pi-Star (perhaps the 100 is missing a command or button for one or more commands) 2. Once you are in Wires-X mode and connect to a mode, there i...

Re: WiresX Auto Passthrough
I think my issue is radio specific??? I am not sure why Pi-Star thinks all of the crossmode TG lists are "0" or non-existent. If I solve this, my only real problem would be that once I select a mode, I cannot change it without restarting the Services and reconnecting. Going to grab Dinner ...
