Re: New alert at top of config page

Which is what I plan to do, I just wanted to understand the alert, and it's ramifications if ignored. Problem solved, as is the not receiving, my HT is the problem.

One HT works fine, one doesn't. Digging into the one that's fubar to see what changed.

Re: New alert at top of config page

Do I? No, but setting private seems so, unfriendly.. As I have a couple hams nearby, that I've tried to convert to digital.. I like to keep it open..

Thanks for the reply..

New alert at top of config page

Alert: You are running a hotspot in public mode without an access list for DMR, this setup *could* participate in network loops!

Ummm ok, what's an access list? And how do I create one?

Re: Help please Jumbo hat

We used to have quite a few guys do this when I ran the Jumbospot Group on Face book, Even did it myself once (I own both and braincramped). Re-run the flash again, it might take a try or two. I agree with the 14mhz txco, don't think I've ever seen a Jumbo with 12. Reimaging the SD card won't do any...

I recently dug out my Zumspot/Pi0W portable YSF hotspot for it's monthly update (I don't use it much). Plugged it in, and it wouldn't connect to Wifi.. OK, OTG cable and 10/100 USB it is.. No soap.. Well, crud.. Flash a new card, try again.. Nadda.. OK, now I'm gonna get this working, one way or the...

Have you tried Pistar-remote via the expert menu? You can shut down Pi-star using your radio.

Re: First Attempt to Flash a new SD Card with Ver 4.xx

If I remember right, there are settings that won't transfer from 3.x.x to 4.x.x. You'll have to go through your settings and see what transferred and what didn't.

For the Nextion, it looks like the port isn't set right.

Parrot is a function of Brandmeister (or other server), not Pi-star..

Re: MobileGPS

Well this wasn't due to the radios RF this was as soon as I powered the unit on, it was very odd and I never quite figured it out. The radio put out a birdie, I didn't have a RF counter that went high enough at the time, but yea, same thing. I even remember posting about it on a popular GPS board w...
