Re: Raspberry Pi 3A+ WiFi issue
FYI, yesterday evening I updated two hotspots with which I had been having trouble connecting to WiFi on startup, one 3A+ and one 4B. Both have been starting up and connecting to WiFi flawlessly since the update to 4.1.0-RC7. Thank you! (Actually, I updated the 4B from RC6 to RC7, and I flashed a ne...

Re: Can not link to reflectors with Verizon Jetpack
The Raspberry Pi uses Network Time Protocol (NTP) to synchronize its clock to UTC. In some cases, the time may get out of sync. In that case, you can simply restart the RPi and the NTP daemon should re-synchronize to UTC. If necessary, you can force a manual re-synchronization via Pi-Star by logging...

I'm unfamiliar with the Auto AP process or how to connect to the access point. I've done the wifi builder thing many times. The name and password are correct. It just won't connect. Maybe I need to wipe the card and start over More info might help with the troubleshooting, for example, the kind of ...

Re: Port Forwarding
any advice? Xfinity doesn't have a clue. Hi Steve, you probably just need to set up your hotspot as you would for any new WiFi connection. If it's based on a newer Raspberry Pi (Zero W, 3B, or newer), you can just turn it on, let it sit for at least three minutes, and then it will become an access ...

Re: Release string on dashboard does not change?
Thank you for the reply, The problem is not that its not upgrading, the problem is that the cersion string in the dashboard does not change. I am in RC2, upgraded and even though I saw the files being downloaded and installed (I hope) the version string on the dashboard still says RC2 Your question...

Re: mmdvm's connect ok and after a period of days or hours ignore pi-star.local access
The 3B+ and 3A+ also can use 4.0.x, but that beta codeline has been deprecated and isn't available for download anymore, so practically speaking, a new install for the 3B+ or 3A+ requires 4.1.x.
