Re: DExtra Hosts file change

So for total clarity, and making this a simple action to address. what entry do you want changed and what address should it return? There's no need to recap on what ur running or why etc. etc. Simply state, which protocol and what address it should return Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk Ok so ...

Re: Blank screen with new SD card

Logoscreensaver =0 don't show the screen saver. Keep the screen blank.

Logoscreensaver =1 show the screen saver, ie scrolling text across the screen when idle.

Re: DMR Gateway dropping out

My understanding is that once you do "Full Edit" in expert, then if you make any changes under the "Config" Tab, then the full edit changes may be overwritten. I cannot confirm this. Cheers Stephen VK3HAW Correct, once you start making changes within the expert pages, stay with ...

Re: Don’t know what to do next

I notice that there are some reflectors with the prefix DCS is there a difference between a DCS reflector and a REF reflector ? There are 3 main types. Dplus REF (mostly USA use. ref001c ref030c etc.) Dextra XRF ( alternative to dplus (in the early days) where dplus wouldn't permit homebrew guys to...

Re: HELp, my hotspots are not working anymore

Yes, .17 is the latest in the 3.4 release series. My typing .19 above was a typo, and now changed. The intent was to have the user above move up from his earlier release to the very latest release. raspbian Jessie is no longer supported by the pi foundation. They have advanced 2 more releases since ...

Re: Hotspot Screen

They're completely incompatible devices. One uses a video feed, the other a serial data feed. There are no generic serial data to video converters you could use for this. There are some very ingenious nextion housings on thingyverse, one of the designs there and a online 3D printing service, and you...

Re: Bridging Wires-X to YSF

PDFs can't be attached to this forum it appears. Whilst that is true, the resources here don't support it. It is possible to work around this by uploading it to an online storage account, Google drive, AWS, Dropbox etc. Make it public, then post a link to that resource here. Sent from my SM-G935F u...

Re: Don’t know what to do next

I am registered under another call sign You previously indicated My/RPT2 as G6KEE B/G. Those 2 fields in addition to RPT1: also require a D-Star registered call sign. But only if your running dplus. (REF reflectors) The alternative protocols / networks don't require a registration. Sent from my SM-...
