Hi Andy
Any plans to include the jitter setting for modes in addition to DMR?
I understand from the Shark RF people that their jitter setting applies to all modes.

De Jitter queue?
A friend tells me how good his Shark RF is... I note in their instructions a suggested setting to use with a mobile phone hotspot, with 1000mS, or longer, being recommended for use via 3G/4G. This setting is called the DeJitter Queue and might be applicable to all modes. In Pi-Star there is a Jitter...

Re: 2 D-Star HTs and 1 JumboSpot
You need to set the ID51 upper window to “Use Reflector”. If set to just “CQCQCQ” it won’t go out, the “CQCQCQ” on an Icom is for local use on a repeater.

Re: Randomly Reboot & system Freeze
This is out in left field, but one thing you may want to check is whether WiFi Power Save is on: iw wlan0 get power_save If it is on, see the post here by Albert, AF4FA, for some helpful suggestions: https://forum.pistar.uk/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1726#p7603 Could the Pi-Star builds not be altered ...

Re: DMR Simple Mode
There are a lot of hams who seem incapable of programming their own radios and rely on others to do it for them. In reality, it’s easier to configure your own from scratch than it is to work with someone else’s mistakes. There are lots of “codeplugs” out there to download, plus whatever came in your...

Re: Dimmable oled / led’s on/off
You can “dim” the LEDs with a black felt tip marker... makes an MMDVM board visually much less annoying.

Re: MMDVM Jumbo Spot Rev 1.7 09/2018 Modes won't enable.
By substituting the MMDVM boards you have isolated the problem to the MMDVM board, return it for a replacement or a refund. Is it a Chinese copy board from eBay? I have a Chinese eBay one, the seller(s) typically sell all sorts of non radio items and ship from a local shop/house. Almost all have a g...

Re: Ability to turn off ircddbgateway
I'm not sure why running two Pi-Star access points should be a problem with the ircddb gateway. I use two myself. I run one with a DVAP dongle on 2m and another with an MMDVM board on 70cms. I access them via their IP address, which is xxx.3 for one and xxx.2 for the other. I use ircddb remote on my...

Re: Automatic WiFi re-connection Fails with iPhone hotspot
I use my iPhone SE as a hotspot all the time, it works fine with both a Chinese MMDVM/Pi Zero W and a DVAP/Pi 3. I typically run both nodes at the same time, the DVAP is a 2m one and runs D-Star, the MMDVM is on 70cms running DMR (although it can alternate between D-Star and DMR). The setup runs for...
