Re: Does Pi-Star pass the P25 packet unaltered?
It does strip out non-voice frames - not sure why; maybe coding for these was not a high priority.

V4 RC7 P25 reflectors disconnect after a couple of minutes
I just re-flashed a working repeater with RC7. It will connect to P25 reflectors just fine, but silently, after a minute or two will disconnect, where in PiStar 3 it would stay connected for weeks at a time. What changed, and how can I change RC7 to enable 'static' connections on P25? Thanks!

Re: P25 pre-courtesy tone
Is the tone coming from your radio when you key up? Do other stations hear the tone over the air when you transmit?
Can you post a video (preferred) or audio clip of the tone you're hearing?

I believe that is the number of hours between pulls of the DMR callsign database

ZumRadio-MMDVM firmware update?
Hi all,
I tried to update the firmware using "sudo pistar-mmdvmhshatflash rpi_duplex"
After completing, and power cycling, the modem still reports the original firmware version (MMDVM:20170501)
I must be missing something - any thoughts?
Cheers,
N6MIK

Re: RF to repeater has delayed Tx
I'm running an MMDVM_PI (from the ZumSpot folks) on a Pi3 B+. I don't use Dstar, but have the same thing happening on P25... annoying, but also serves as a real-time signal report! DMR does not have this problem.

Re: STM32-DVM V3 Kenwood tm710g help
Set your radio for wideband (vs. narrow, if you have that choice), and 9600bps data. Also play with the TX Invert setting in Pi-Star's MMDVMHost settings...

I had the same problem with my STM32 using Yaesu Radios...
Keep in mind that the tx/rx offsets in the pi-star settings don't do anything when you're connected to an external radio.... make sure that your tx deviation and frequency of the radio are good, and work the TX_G pot until you dial it in.

Anyone running Yaesu FT-3000M with STM-32?
I've been trying for several days to get either of my 2 FT-3000M radios to transmit DMR and P25 as a simplex hotspot. About the best I can do is partial, garbled decode on P25, and no audio and incorrect radio ID decodes on DMR using multiple receivers on both modes. Receive is fine, with low BER, a...

Re: STM32-DVM/MMDVM_HS changed to RPRT mode after fw upg.
I have a similar issue, but in my case, my repeater shows up as a hotspot also. I figured I would go mess with the altitude and see if I could correct that, and the altitude setting is greyed-out for both. My other repeater is not running MMDVM/Pi-Star and I can change that altitude... Strange? hi,...
