Re: 4.2.0 Beta feedback
The fm side of things hasn't been fully integrated as yet. Fm isn't a mode that hotspots can run and pistars main focus has always been with that of a hotspot user. If u've not updated ur boards f/w yet to 1.6.1 try that as its needed for the newer mmdvmhost were using in these latest pistar release...

Re: Pistar stays Close
The dv mega never had any problems when all of this was going on. It was the zumspots that seemed the ones. John Because dv mega does not use mmdvm firmware. Mmdvmhost was written to encorporate use of dv mega. Kina making it backward compatible with the megas ability to run multimode. Sent via smo...

Re: Pistar stays Close
I am wondering if we will get to a point if my units firmware cannot be updated that they will not be able to update as their limits will have been reached. I hope that will not happen but will have to flash a few more cards later to have some spares. John That will depend entirely on the requireme...

Re: Zumspot 2018 version
I used the new FW tool to update the firmware using new tool which was successful, thanks another brilliant pi-star innovation. Though worth mentioning... Whilst we did borrow the tool 'the gui part and its idea" the actual firmware update procedure is still what we used prior in pistar (Origi...

Re: Pistar stays Close
Prior to 4.1.7 the pistar image would unpack onto a 2GB sd card. The newer vers. require a minimum 4GB so a 32GB card has more than enough space.

Using the pistar dashboard navigate ur way to ../admin/expert/edit_mmdvmhost.php.
Scroll a liitle ways down and youll see RX offset. Thats what ur altering. Move in small values given the other ysf radio is working.

Re: New FT5 not 'seen' by Pi-Star
Youll most prob. need to tweak ur rx offset to better tune to the transmission of the ft5.

Re: How I can change the SSH and WEB Ports?
Im fairly sure you can still change the server port using this method. I can't fully recall if changes stop this or not so... Type. rpi-rw Type. sudo nano /etc/nginx/sites-available/pi-star Where you see listen 80 default_server; change that to listen 8080 default_server; Save the file with Ctrl-X R...

Re: RepeaterBuilder v4 PTT not working
If ur running f/w 1.6.1 on the board we're not quite ready to support that yet. Its in the works but we'll need to make changes to support the higher data rates of that firmware.
