Re: 4.1.0-RC7 "Update Running" Window Bug
There were some bugs in RC2, if I remember correctly, that left glitches in the system even after update/upgrade. Best course of action would be to flash RC6 or RC7 (whichever you have at hand) to the micro SD card and configure everything from the beginning.

Re: BM AirSecurity via Pi-Star
Cannot convey the whole conversation here... Those who are in BM group have seen it.
Important is that AirSec is meant to be "a bitch" and compromise between security and convenience is hard to achieve, if not impossible.

Re: BM AirSecurity via Pi-Star
Of course, but I just don't want to step on somebody else's toes, so to say. Maybe it's not mine to ask BM admins. But if it is, I'll gladly ask and link this topic.

Re: BM AirSecurity via Pi-Star
Ah... OK. Do you mind me asking the guys at BrandMeister Telegram group if they would implement it?

Re: BM AirSecurity via Pi-Star
I completely agree. Considering what happened on latest CQ WW on TG91, such additions would be very welcome, as you said - for user convenience.

Aaahaha... OK. Yeah, maybe, but then again, it's relevant, non commercial, and only post in this section, so...
Great article, again.

Re: dashboard callsign information.
Happened to me on one of two hotspots today and to one my friend on all three his hotsports. DMRIds.dat file pulled from net was bad. You can either wait for it to "self-fix" or log to Pi-Star using SSH and do this: pi-star@pi-star-1(ro):~$ rpi-rw pi-star@pi-star-1(rw):~$ sudo su root@pi-s...

Re: Digital Repeater
Yeah, very nice! All our (Serbian) DMR repeaters are built that way.
But why "shameful"?
