At first glance I don't see what it would take from that script to get what I am looking for. When I get a chance I will investigate the script in more detail to see what I can get out of it.

I am trying to find the best way to display the firmware version form the command line. You can't just use cut & paste for the color codes because there are control characters included in the codes and "cut & paste" can't copy control characters. The border can be done with cut & paste. When I get home from work, I will put together some more detailed instructions...
