Re: DVMEGA Euronode WiFi

Can I build in a wpa supplicant conf to my DVMEGA hotspot by copying my mobile phone hotspot info, I already have copied my WiFi home Hub info and copied it online, can I do the same for my mobile phone details..... I suspect you will need to create a file that contains both connections at the same...

Re: SSH session

My recommendation would be to use something like PuTTY to go direct SSH rather than through some web browser overhead.

PuTTY may show an error message indicating some reason for not authenticating.

Re: Retevis RT82 Programming Query !!

Looking at the manual, that radio looks an awful lot like the ancient Tyt MD-2017... I'd suggest skipping group lists until you have the core function working: that is -- TalkGroups/contacts, Channel definition using said talk groups, and Zone definition. On the MD-2017, the group list is /talk grou...

Re: Download Android Pi-Star software !!

To my knowledge, there is NO "Android Pi-Star" software. You can use the phone as a Wi-Fi access point if you configure Pi-Star (running on one of the known platforms) with the access point SSID/WPA information. Ideally, the phone /browser/ should then also allow you to connect to the Pi-S...

What is a "track menu"?

The hang times are the first part of the MMDVM configuration block.

Re: Is T mobile Home Internet a problem?

My little hotspot has worked fairly well for a good while with very few BER rates showing and signal loss was fine... I have made some changes to my home internet by adding a wired router to my gateway and using a wifi to wired ethernet adapter to the mix... Now I'm getting a lot of loss. Still low...

Re: Dstar and DMR

Clarify: Dual-band usually means a board that can operate on 2m OR 70cm, but not both at the same time Duplex is taken to mean the board operates as a REPEATER, rather than the common simplex hot-spot. Repeater boards can typically support both DMR TS1 and TS2 at the same time, but are limited to a ...

R-Pi boot files are located in the FAT partition of the SD card. Even Windows can read/write to that partition. Re: Anytone 878 was working great on BM TGs Aursinc hotspot, but not now

As I recall, "LOSS" refers to lost packets on the network side of things. For offset -- if the "tuning" software is incompatible (as it is with my DV-MEGA) it's basically binary search... Test +/- 1000; whichever side seems better, retry at 500, 250 (if that gets worse, try 750),...

Re: dmrgateway commands by command line

Most of the -link commands, to my knowledge, rely upon an API provided by the server; they don't operate locally. Since DMR seems to support multiple servers with (I presume) incompatible APIs, DMR appears to be the mode that does not provide /any/ -link command capability (the BrandMeister servers ...
