Weird happening with OLED scrolling
Some time today all 3 of my Pi Zero W PiStars all stopped scrolling their OLEDs, probably about simultaneously. This didn't happen to the Pi 3B+ hotspot. I had to reset scrolling to 1 for all 3 OLED sections in the expert mmdvmhost settings and apply changes. Weird. Anyone else had anything like thi...

Re: FT70 Europelink
You may be correct, but unless the changes you are using are in a branch on github then they're not easily visible.
Feel free to do that and then see what happens.

Re: FT70 Europelink
The pull requests are here:
https://github.com/g4klx/MMDVMHost/pull/515
https://github.com/g4klx/MMDVMHost/pull/517
You can see the comments from G4KLX and what has happened so far, essentially it needs people to test it and comment so that eventually the changes will be merged into master.

Re: Duplex Hotspot Disconnect
It would be nice to see a definitive answer, there *must* be someone on DV who knows.

Re: Duplex Hotspot Disconnect
This is on the DV groups.io list, the replacement for the MMDVM Yahoo group, posted by Chris F5VMR/G4NAB "Yes of course the disconnect works on a duplex hotspot. It is in fact a micro repeater after all, despite the lack of attachment of true radios/transceivers. There are provisos however. Fir...

Re: Upgrade
Pleased you got it sorted out, the thing to remember is that the update and upgrade steps sometimes need to be run a couple of times alternately.

Re: Noises with FT-70D
Try carefully reheating the joints to the TCXO that feeds the clock signal to the ADF7021 RF chip. Sometime these TCXOs are a bit picky about soldering and occasionally they are faulty, some time ago I had to replace this 14.7456MHz TCXO on one of my MMDVM_HS_HATs.

Re: Upgrade
I am slowly beginning to get a little smarter but I am not quite there yet. I can now get into SSH Access but when I enter "sudo pi-star-update" it says not found. I have tried other ways of entry but no cigar. I can't say enough about how well people have been trying to help. Thanks to a...

Re: Duplex Hotspot Disconnect
In the MMDVM_HS readme here: https://github.com/juribeparada/MMDVM_HS/blob/master/README.md It states: "Full duplex support with two ADF7021" so I suspect that the problem is either fixed in the currently unreleased firmware or that there is some other reason it's not being passed back to ...

Re: Duplex Hotspot Disconnect
hi, if you add wire or if you can put second antenna difrently polarized it can hear better! This solved my proble + tuning first TXoffset and then using same software receive and minimize ber. I guess some kind duplexer could bee good idea. As long as there is enough isolation on the PCB. The ante...
