Re: Analog Repeater to DMR and Vice Versa
No i didnt miss it, you did not say how you are doing DtoA conversion but simply that you are doing it. which is why i asked the question. This group does not support that device, echolink, outbound controllers or what you are wanting to do. Nothing we do within pistar can help you with your goal. S...

Re: Analog Repeater to DMR and Vice Versa
How are you linking the two given there is no suppirt in this package for DMR to FM?? Im guessing your using dv switch or similar which will be linking via a netconnection not at an audio level which the FM cat controllers work at. Also there is no fm ability in a hotspot. Their rf chipset used is n...

Re: MMDVMHOST FM mode implementation
Im one of those that would love to have fm2dmr abilities but i'll be the first to admit that im just to stupid to do it. I do however, appreciate the product you all have created and continue to develop. the hotspot is the first time i ever thought about a pi.. now i have a few different uses for t...

Re: BrandMaster Talk Group Black List
It was in the software back in 2016, it was removed. Theres probably a good reason why it was removed, like the ability to block it from the network was decided. I don't think it is applicable to other modes, only DMR. It was. You had tg whitelists and blacklists but it was thought that it was not ...

Re: BrandMaster Talk Group Black List
"If you put up a repeater for folks to use in ur local area, then why close down where they can choose to connect?" Where I am in Southern California, there are many, many DMR repeaters with overlapping coverage and the same or very similar set of static talkgroups enabled. It is not unco...

Re: BrandMaster Talk Group Black List
As both an admin here in pistar and BM U.K. team. Im in complete agreement with jason. If you put up a repeater for folks to use in ur local area, then why close down where they can choose to connect? Just dont put up the repeater. it seems strange you would want to help ur community, by controlling...

Re: Echolink & Pistar
There is a gateway interface that talks to the fm side of the fm mode from the net put there obvs needs to be something that talks between it and echolink, wjich hasnt been done as of yet. If your just wanting the small form factor have a look at a Shari. Its a small form factor transceiver that con...

Re: DExtra_Hosts.txt help
I've talked with them too and they refer me back to you guys. Problem still isn't resolved. yep. Got sorted this afternoon. The overnight maintenance scripts should sort this with a host update and give you the correct link. Or run a manual update and that should sort it, if you cant wait till then...

Re: VIS___ON problem
You obvs. need an ircddb account to login to ircddb servers. Vis_on gave it the [emoji818] it needed to show your callsign on the ircddb network lastheard dashboards.

Re: Duplex MMDVM - One Radio for DMR and the other for Dstar: Possible?
Yeah that'll work, but remember its only one mode at a time. the mode with traffic will always lock out the other. Also if your actively using one mode transmitting into the hotspot, the other radio (because its a simplex channel) will be receiving the other radios transmission, same for the transmi...
