Re: Expert link to DAPnet api DOA
I’ve run update and upgrade several times, both from the Expert Page and via SSH, and have rebooted and cold-booted more than once. In every case the return is that I’m already up to date and (in the case of upgrade) already using the latest version. The three-line api file is just not there. I’m pr...

Expert link to DAPnet api DOA
I have all the required passwords and authorization keys for DAPnet, and my hotspot retransmits DAPnet messages that come to it from the web (verified by PDW). Yesterday I decided to configure the DAPnet api, but I’ve not been able to do that. When I go to the Expert page and click on “DAPnet API” I...

Need RIC if no pager?
I have POCSAG enabled on my hs_hat, my TX authorization number is entered in Pi-Star, the live logs show a pair of POCSAG transmissions microseconds apart every minute (which I assume are retransmissions of POCSAG data from the web). I’ve tried sending messages from my MD390G to other known users us...

Re: Anybody have any luck yet?
The hotspot details. Mine is registered as having 1 watt at 2 meters height, and as a “personal”, rather than a wide-area transmitter. I used the same lat/long coordinates that are on my Pi-Star config page. I want to learn how to send and receive messages using my DMR transceiver and MMDVM hs_hat, ...

Thanks, and...Tutorial or YouTube vid?
Many thanks to the entire European team for the upgrades and enhancements to Pi-Star (which was fabulous even before all the new features). As DAPnet and POCSAG aren’t things I’ve heard of before and I’m not sure the feature even works in this hemisphere, I’m going to need to study up. I’ve looked a...
