Re: Understanding Duplex MMDVM hat

Hi, best wishes for 2021. You can conncect to a repeater: set URcall to "CALL BL" (B --> repeater call is on VHF use mode B, L for Link). I programmed that in the trx and it works. URcall "CALL BU" to unlink. Does not work in the pi-star software, you have to do it with your trx ...

Re: DMR working only in RX and not in TX

wrong DMR ID?
could annother dmr receiver decode your dmr signal from the origin trx?

So, you have to investigate, if the problem is hot spot related or trx related.

Re: DMR working only in RX and not in TX

Hello,

best wishes for 2021.

Check "§life log", when you transmit.

Same TRX for YSF and DMR? DMR is very sensitive concerning difference between tx-frequency of trx and rx-frequency of hot-spot.

Re: kenwood and pi-star RF fails

Hi, please update and upgrade pistar, like the other hams suggested. I bigger sd card makes abolutely sence, becasue otherwise you can get in trouble with the linux os. It makes also sence to update firmware of the mmdvm hat, if your hotspot has one. After that look, if receiving signals of the net ...

Re: RF Issues

Hello, you should try to receive dmr signals from a local repeater. If that works, you know that your receiver is working. Quite often a misconfigration of the trx as described before might be the reason. MAybe you have to shift rx and tx freqiency of the hotspot. But 1st try to receive dmr signals ...
