Re: RadioID.net vs. QRZ.com
update / try it :) Thanks! I remain confused about one thing. When RadioID is the active link, on the Configuration page in the General Configuration section's URL field, with Auto selected, the URL is still the QRZ one. I had always thought that the URL in that field dictated what site other users...

Re: RadioID.net vs. QRZ.com
One thing that may warrant a patch. I've been switching back and forth between RadioID and QRZ. The link for RadioID is secure (https), but the link for the QRZ isn't (http; however, when I click the link to visit QRZ, their website redirects to https). Also, in General Configuration, I have URL set...

Please clarify the new Auto AP SSID PSK configuration option
The new Auto AP SSID PSK configuration option was added in the 20210125 dashboard update. In a previous related post ( https://forum.pistar.uk/viewtopic.php?p=13568#p13568 ), Andy said: “Setting the password on the Auto AP mode is coming, and soon the Auto AP will be set to no password for the out o...

Re: Pi Zero W Rev 1.1 transmit and Password
Hi Tony, Whether or not you can use the duplex mode depends on the radio/modem board you are using. If it has one antenna, it's a simple board; if it has two, it's a duplex board. It might be easiest at this point to burn a new Pi-Star image to your microSD card and start fresh. Not knowing where yo...

Try 3101. It's a lot closer to you.

Re: Unable to Switch Back to 'rpi-ro'
Well, this is still an issue. My personal troubleshooting procedure for this issue has been to always update manually via SSH so that I get any Raspbian OS updates along with the Pi-Star dashboard updates. My process is to log into Pi-Star via SSH, run sudo pistar-update, then reboot the hotspot, t...

Re: ZUMspot - Duplex Raspberry Pi Hat (GPIO)
[Okay, completely editing this post, because my original version was incorrect. Apologies for that, but this really confused me.] There are two boards listed on HRO, a Dual Band board and a Duplex board. Unfortunately, in the description for both of them, it says: "If you would like the Origina...

Re: ZUMspot - Duplex Raspberry Pi Hat (GPIO)
Well, this is a bit awkward. Support for that option has been added to the latest version of the MMDVM_HS firmware, v1.5b, though as the "b" suggests, that version is still a pre-release beta. You can find it here: https://github.com/juribeparada/MMDVM_HS/releases The problem is, there isn...

For comparison, I just ran sudo vcgencmd get_throttled on my 3A+ hotspot and got: 0x0
