Re: Not Linked - on Pi-Star Dashboard
After almost a full day of playing I found the following 1) Functions.php grabs a new TG from /var/log/pi-star/P25Gateway log file 2) Changing to a new Talk Group resets the Not Linked to show the current TG 3) Keying up on the current TG does NOT reset the Not Linked 4) After approximately an hour ...

Re: Not Linked - on Pi-Star Dashboard
Wishful Thinking
The fix was temporary
It did however unlock a few functions that were not operable

Not Linked - on Pi-Star Dashboard
/var/www/dashboard/mmdvmhost/functions.php function getYSFGatewayLog() { This is used twice in this function | sed '/*Link/d' | tail -1`); The /* makes everything that follows into a comment, so P25 which I want always shows "Not Linked" on the dashboard I removed the / to make it | sed '*...

Re: New Overlay for DMRGateway - welcome your comments
This for Andy -- Not for General Dissemination Hi Andy I think it is time to revise your DMRGateway Overlay as it has been a couple of years and it is no longer viable ie Network 1 PCRewrite0=2,94000,2,4000,1001 TG 94550 is a talk group on TGIF Network 2 TGRewrite2=2,80800,2,800,100 Although this ra...

Re: Private Calls in DMRGateway
Quite right. I should have tested it before posting it I run my DMRGateway with an 8 digit control method as follows NOTE: This not a stock pi-star gateway as the stock gateway will not handle 7 digit talk groups (either PC or GC) required for use on TGIF TGRewrite0=2,14000001,2,1,999999 // This lin...

Private Calls in DMRGateway
Lets start with a look at the accepted method of doing a private call to a parrot PCRewrite0=2,9990,2,9990,1 SrcRewrite0=2,9990,2,9,1 Now this requires a TG 9990 private call to be created in the code plug with tg9 set in a receiver group associated with tg9990 we can eliminate the TG9 when we use S...

Re: Bi-Directional Private Call to Group call in DMRGateway
This particular individual had both a backup of the /etc/dmrgateway file and a backup micro sd card and he still called me to assist.
Oh Well!!

Re: Bi-Directional Private Call to Group call in DMRGateway
There is a bit of a unknown bug where the DMRGateway info gets blasted and sections get removed, but nobody has been able to figure out what sequence of operation causes it so that it can be looked into and fixed. OK This is probably what has been happening. Net4 and 5 are gone, Log and audio secti...

"If you'd quit "applying changes" in the main configuration area, and only used the expert areas to make ANY AND ALL changes to your system, it wouldn't "mess" things up. You have full control in the expert areas and in the terminal, and it won't hold your hand and force any...
