Re: Analog FM mode working on MMDVM Repeater
From personal experience, have a look at the settings in the mmdvm.ini file. If you don't have a COS connection between the radio and the board, set COS to 0. Also, start pistar up and have a look through the log when it has had time to boot up and get all the services running. If you see anything i...

Re: Analog FM mode working on MMDVM Repeater
Well I can say that it definately works! Having trouble getting the K (or I as i prefer), but the callsign at the end of the hang period is there I've just put a license request in for a dual mode FM/DMR repeater (maybe the first MMDVM/P-Star FM unit in the UK? One thing I have noticed is the acktim...

Re: FM
Thanks for that! Now I just need to find the code! The only code that is on BI7JTA's site is the current code, which appears to have been stopped at that version. I've tried others, but the modem hasn't liked it, and i've had to revert to the current code. Will have to keep digging! Thanks again! Ja...

Re: FM
Andrew, It would appear that it may be a modem firmware issue. Everything is as it should be in mmdvm.ini, but the moment I enable it I get the error that I posted in my original post and that is that, it all stops there and no mode works. The modem supports POCSAG (although the vendor was adamant t...

FM
Hi Folks, I'm experimenting with FM mode, as an option (subject to NoV obviously) to add FM as a standalone mode. I'm struggling though. I'm using a BI7JTA modem board with VR2VYE MMDVM firmware. I boot the system up, only to be met with:" E: 2020-09-16 10:31:55.548 Received a NAK to the SET_FM...

Duplexer Woes!
Hi all, Apologies if this is in the wrong section, But I bought a 6 cavity duplexer from China (yes, I know!) that was supposedly tuned to the customer requirements. I'm seeing a VSWR of 2.5:1 on the TX. I've changed patch leads etc, and taken the duplexer out of the loop, and am seeing 1:1 between ...
