DMR Reflectors - Why?
I have been involved with DMR for over 6 years now and have never used reflectors(Just regular Talk Groups) I am now trying to wrap my head around the theory of their use. The rules I see in use in the DMRGateway are as follows TGRewrite0=2,9,2,9,1 PCRewrite0=2,94000,2,4000,1001 SrcRewrite0=2,4000,2...

Re: DMR NET goes offline when using DMR Gateway for BM and TGIF networks
Quite Right!! Do Not use Net 3 unless you are tying to use one of the two dmr2xxx crossovers ie: DMR2YSF, or DMR2NXDN. These must be initially configured in the pi-star configuration page. If you try to use Net3 for any other mode, the configuration script that runs when you hit [Apply Changes] will...

Re: DMR NET goes offline when using DMR Gateway for BM and TGIF networks
Retrace your logic with the following process in mind. 1) The DMRGateway processes rules one by one in progression from Net 1 to Net 5 in two passes. The first pass processes all regular rules. If it gets a match it will process it and bails out. ie: If it gets a match in Net 1 it will not process a...

Re: DMR2YSF settings problem
FCS may not be working due to its dynamic tg assignments(ie: keep changing)
why not try the ysf reflectors. much more stable
64230;America-RC;YSF-TO-WIRES-X;73.111.54.112;42000;000
32592;US-America-Link;AmericaLink;63.250.41.136;42000;606
so America Link should be 7032592 in the DMRGateway

DMRGateway RemoteControl
I see that remote control has been added to the DMRGateway. However I have not been able to find any explanation as to how to use it I see code that will enable or disable the networks... This looks interesting Has anyone figured this out, or have any documentation on how to implement it Github G4KL...

Re: TGIG configuration
A couple of Changes are suggested below [DMR Network 4] Address=prime.tgif.network change to (This still works but may be discontinued in the future) Address=tgif.network TGRewrite0=2,5000001,2,1,999999 Change to ( the 4 is used to select the network ) TGRewrite0=2,4000001,2,1,999999 [DMR Network 5]...

Re: New Overlay for DMRGateway - welcome your comments
This is what I use for a rule set for TGIF Network 4 TGRewrite0=2,14000001,2,1,999999 // All DMR from 14000001 to14999999 = 1 to 999999 and locks in Net 4 TGRewrite1=2,1000001,2,1000001,5599999 // with Net 4 Locked this handles 7 digit talk groups used on TGIF PCRewrite0=2,14000001,2,1,999999 // Thi...

Re: New Overlay for DMRGateway - welcome your comments
Keep In Mind when setting rules for the DMRGateway, that the rules are read one at a time starting at Network 1, line by line, and running through to the last Network, last line. If it finds a match in Network 1 it will ignore all rules that follow in Net 1 and all other networks. Once a match is fo...

7 Digit Talk Groups on the DMRGateway
The TGIF Network now allows 7 Digit Talk Groups, also if you want to to use a personal ID as a Talk Group there ways to do this. Method 1) If you are a dedicated pi-star DMRGateway user, you can use a phantom tg. If you want to use Real TG 3023555 on both BM and TG then you would do this. Find an un...
