RECOMENDATION's palls,..

hi,

I had orange pi and it run 2 months and now CSY is blinking once a second green,.... so it must be dead!

Also pi-sar support for orage is dead.

I wanna develop my RPI to:
-handle ARPS trafic,... beawulf, aprsx + chinese radio modules
-have wx station
-might have wstx receive and sending
-weather baloon tracking, RTL-SDR
-pi-start + duplex hat

ALSO LOW POWER CONSUMPTION IS WELCOME,
will end of ethernet cable and POE is prefered,.. PLANING
TO INTALL IT OUTSIDE -30 to +40 C

I have no knowledege abou RSPI so what boar is best and if you can say
what I should left out ehit each model,..

Raspberry Pi 3 model A+

or

RPI 4 ???

There is so many available, which one will be likely supported at
long time, enough power and power consumption minimal,...

Raspberry Pi 3, 3B+ and 4B boards are in production until January 2026.

Power consumption is less on the 3/3B+ boards, same with much less heat.

Your post was only up for 45 minutes. It was only seen by 20 people in that short amount of time.

This entire forum only gets one or two posts a day on average, perhaps you should of waited longer.


You should buy a RPi Zero W to run your pi-star hotspot, and use another SBC to do all of the other tasks you want to do as you are going to run into conflicts.
If someones previous actions are any indication of their future actions, then I predict the deletion and removal of access will happen at any moment. 7-11-2020.
