Can I update it via Pi-star ? I can't figure out how, and think the answer is here somewhere 8-)

Is the Raspberry Pi that your ZUMspot was mounted on still good? If yes, you can use that to update your DVMEGA via Pi-Star. Here are the step-by-step instructions: https://amateurradionotes.com/pi-star-f ... htm#viarpi
