Model 8 screen issue

I've got the Model 8 3.5" and love it. However, the feature that switchesb the IDLE screen and the screen that shows the talking station's info in big letters rarely works. Most of the time I'm stuck on the Idle screen where I can see DMR IDs on the bottoms and sometimes a call, but cant get to the DMR screen that shows everything big. On the system2 settings screen, I've checked both Auto Switch DMR and the DMR2 page boxes and set the Alternate Info Screen slider (which resets itself to "off" every 20 minutes or so) toward the fast end.
