.tft-File for Netion-Display

Post by DL3YEG »

Hi all ...

I'm looking for an .tft-File for my Nextion-Display NX3224K024 Enhanced.
It is connectet to a ZUMspot Single Band Raspberry PI Hat (GPIO) running Pi-Star 4.1.2.

Problem here is that I have no Windows-PC. Only a MacIntosh iMac.
So I can't run the Nextion-Editor. I'm also have no Facebook-Account for personell reason.

It would be nice if anyone can sent me a ready .tft-File. Frequency is 433.500 MHz.

Thank you +73

Hi Heinrich,

have you checked the *.tft files at https://github.com/g4klx/MMDVMHost/ in the Nextion_* directories?

There is a file named NX3224K024.tft. Maybe this will fit foryour display.

The forum won't allow the files because they are too large.

I have the file for the NX3224K024 display, what am I doing with it?

Not sure what is supposed to happen with the file.

You need to program the Nextion with that .tft file.

That can happen two different ways:
  1. Place that .tft file on a completely blank (FAT32 formatted) SD card and then with the Nextion powered off insert the SD card in the Nextion SD card slot. Then power on the Nextion and you should see a white screen with red text explaining what it is doing. If you see an error there is a problem. When it says "Success", power down the Nextion and REMOVE the SD card.
  2. Use the Nextion editor and a USB/TTL adapter to manually upload the .tft to the Nextion.
I suggest the SD card route, it is much faster and much less complicated.
