Nextion information on the Pi-star wiki

Post by G8SEZ »

As an example of the wiki, this section

https://wiki.pistar.uk/Nextion_Screen_i ... on_Pi-Star

is very significantly different from this, so getting the wiki updated would be a good move.

That doesn't have anything to do with the Nextion Driver at all.

That is the ancient way to install a Nextion on a RPi that ISN'T using a MMDVM_HS hat that uses the GPIO.

Notice the bottom of the page:

Yes, so perhaps it needs a generic Nextion section and then sub-sections for different connection methods and installation options.

Then create an account on the wiki site and do it.

I thought you were Mr Nextion.

I don't use them so I am not the right person to do that.

HAHAHA  No, Mr. Nextion would be Patrick Martin.

Then buy one and expand your skillset.

Oddly enough I do keep looking at Nextions and thinking "do I *really* need that?"

The clock is ticking.

Honestly, no. 98% of the information displayed on it is displayed directly on my radio. So is it needed, no, does it look cool, meh, maybe.
