Nextion NX4832K035 problem

Post by K9JTV »

I have a Nextion NX4832K035_011 screen. I copied NX4832K035.tft file downloaded from https://github.com/g4klx/MMDVMHost/tree ... tion_G4KLX to a SD card, then put it in the Nextion. It indicated it copied/installed the file with no issues. I power the Nextion down, remove the SD card, and power it back up and get the error message, "Please re download the resource file" error. I have the Nextion powered only, no Tx/Rx connected.

Any help is appreciated.

I wouldn't use those.

One of the problems with old .tft files is the firmware version for the Nextion is built into the .tft during the compile. Your current device probably has a newer firmware and it might be incompatible with the older Nextion files.

Use PD0DIB's, or if you really want that plain jane ancient image you need to download the .hmi and then convert all the fonts and then reload it in latest Nextion editor and then recompile it. Like I said its just easier to use PD0DIB's, plus his displays show tons more info.

Also install the Nextion driver while you are at it.
