I’m building a hotspot for portable use and would like to add a large screen to my MMDVM and Pi zero.
Are the nextion displays supported by the basic Pi zero+Pi-star hardware? In other words, can I just wire the display to the MMDVM and be done with it?
I know the OLED screens are natively supported but the one I see most often included is just too small for these old eyes.

Nextion question
Re: Nextion question
Hello,
I use a Nextion display (2,4") with my Jumbospot.
I use the second USB plug of the Pi Zero board( with a short cable micro-USB/USB)
and a USB to TTL converter between Pi and Nextion screen.
(just need to swap Rx & Tx wires at the output of the TTL converter !!!)
