What is the ON7LDS L3 HS layout?

Post by WU0V »

Just curious. I see that besides the L3 layout there’s an L3 HS layout, but what does the HS mean? My Nextion with Rob’s model 7 file works with either layout, but it’s got my curiousity piqued. There must be some important difference, no?

Take a look at this post by Ryan, WA6HXG, for an explanation:

Thanks Toshen. HS for High Speed was one of the meanings I speculated about but whether it meant high speed refresh, high speed CPUs, or just a setting for people who live fast, I couldn’t decide. With either ON7 layout, the display rewrites itself every 40 seconds or so but otherwise performs normally.
